Specialists for the textile industry

We offer international temporary employment of temporary workers from Eastern Europe for textile factories throughout Europe

The textile and clothing industry is one of the most important consumer goods sectors in Germany. It comprises the entirety of businesses and companies that are involved in the production of yarns from vegetable, animal and chemically produced fibers, twisted yarns, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics and other textile surface structures such as cloths, felts, warp-knitted fabrics and nonwovens, as well as the entire area of textile finishing.

Similar to other industries, there is also a shortage of personnel in the textile industry. Above all, there is a lack of production assistants and production workers in textile factories.

We at Zeitarbeit International help companies to eliminate the shortage of unskilled workers – with the help of production workers from Eastern Europe: Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Hungary, Croatia. We help German companies to cover their personnel requirements. Our production assistants have production experience in the textile industry as well as flexibility, resilience and good German language skills. They are ready to work in a 2-shift system.

Are you looking for production assistants for your company? We offer our customers temporary employment, work contracts and on-site management. Contact us! We have hard-working production employees, machine operators and quality inspectors for the following areas of responsibility:

We offer competent personnel placement from Eastern Europe for all occupational fields of the textile industry

Within the textile industry, there are occupations that are similar to those in other sectors, but also specific occupations that focus on the production of textiles. Health risks in the textile industry

      • There is clearly a health hazard for the production employees who work in the area of dyeing and bleaching. This begins with respiratory diseases, continues with skin allergies, and reaches its peak with a real cancer risk. The dangers come from the chemicals and substances that the employees use during the processes. Therefore, it is important to ensure adequate personal protective equipment and, in general, to avoid contact.

      • The dyes that color the textiles often release aromatic amines. These lead, with prolonged contact, to skin allergies and the occurrence of dermatitis. Chlorine bleach, in turn, can also cause problems through the air and lead to asthma and breathing problems.

      • Certain color pigments contain heavy metals. These include mercury, chromium, lead, cadmium, and copper. These too can, with exposure that accumulates over years of work, lead to health damage.

      • Handling certain raw materials, a good example would be cotton, leads to heavy dust exposure. This, in turn, can cause various respiratory diseases. These include asthma, bronchitis, byssinosis, and more.

We ensure comprehensive occupational safety and provide suitable protective clothing for employees in the textile industry

In the textile industry, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is a central part of occupational safety. Depending on the work area and level of risk, different types of equipment are required to ensure the health and safety of employees. Workers at machines wear cut-resistant gloves, hearing protection, and safety glasses to protect themselves from injuries caused by moving parts or noise. In dyeing or textile finishing, chemical-resistant aprons, rubber gloves, and respirator masks are necessary, as potentially harmful substances are used there.

PPE is also part of the basic equipment in storage and transport areas – for example, in the form of safety shoes with steel toes or high-visibility vests. For work in dusty areas, respirator masks (e.g. FFP2 or FFP3) and eye protection are essential. Employers are legally obliged to provide suitable protective equipment and to regularly train and monitor its use.
